Anick Labonté
President
I have been actively involved in the association sector as President of the Association of Administrative Support Professionals of Quebec (AASPQ) since October 2022. In this role, I leverage my expertise in management and strategic leadership to promote the value of administrative professionals and to create opportunities for administrative support staff to connect, grow, and enhance their skills. My involvement reflects a strong commitment to community service and ethical leadership.
Â
Beyond my work with AASPQ, I am a dynamic and highly organized professional. I apply my expertise as an executive assistant to senior management at Les formations Improov inc. In parallel, I also serve as an administrator and executive assistant to senior leadership at Roy Métivier Roberge, Licensed Insolvency Trustees, where I provide strategic and administrative support to executive management.
Â
With over 20 years of experience across diverse sectors such as healthcare, engineering, and government, I have developed strong expertise in project management, event planning, and administrative coordination. My ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with rigor and professionalism makes me a key asset within my teams.
Â
Community involvement is also very important to me. Each year, I participate in a volunteer day with the Juvénat Notre-Dame du Saint-Laurent, where I have the privilege of leading a group of young people in preparing and distributing 300 meals to individuals experiencing homelessness or living with limited financial resources. This experience allows me to combine social engagement with the transmission of values such as solidarity and compassion to future generations.
Â
My professional journey reflects dedication, teamwork, and a strong belief in the power of communication to achieve excellence.

Â
I have known about the Association of Administrative Support Professionals of Quebec (AASPQ) for several years but had never had the opportunity to attend the annual conference until this yearâafter convincing my supervisor! What a discovery it was! I met passionate professionalsâboth women and men (though still a minority!)âwho are deeply committed not only to their profession but also to sharing knowledge and practical tools to make life easier for administrative staff.
Â
This experience motivated me to join the Board of Directors as the Training Lead.
